City Bike Conditions

110cc - 250cc

Requirements - Must have a valid passport or driving license of which we will keep a copy and be of at least 21 years of age.

Insurance - Standard medical coverage insurance is included with all bikes to help with medical expense for all those involved in the event of an accident. Damage and theft is not common, however we do offer additional coverage to protect the bike if you'd like for piece of mind.  Damage/theft coverage does not cover 3rd party vehicles or property.  A deductible will apply in the unlikely event of an incident.

Cash Deposit - Deposit for all rentals is to be paid before receiving the bike and will be returned accordingly after inspection of the bikes returned condition. Note: Failure to return the bike to the shop at the end of your rental or failure to properly schedule a pickup with us will result in a loss of deposit.

Payments - Payments can be made on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. Simply deposit the money into our account at any SCB (Siam Commerical Bank) bank of cash deposit machine within seven days of the end of your rental and send us a notification/pic of the receipt.

Helmets - All rentals include two standard half-style uni-size helmets free of charge. (Rental helmets are used for a maximum of six months before being replaced)

Reservations - All customers are allowed to extend their rentals as long as they would like, or return as needed. (Within working hours) For that reason availability is not known in advance so we currently do not offer reservations or bookings early.  We recommend contacting us upon arrival or a day before so we can give you an updated list of available bikes..

Delivery/Pickup - Delivery is available pending location and our schedule at that time for rentals of one week or longer.  Although we do not schedule or guarantee deliveries in advance, we do provide it when possible to accommodate customers needs. 200 baht pending location and distance.

Luggage Storage - During your rental we can gladly store any extra luggage or belongings at our shop.

Usage limitations - All bikes include unlimited local Bangkok usage with the prices listed above.  Unlimited usage outside of Bangkok is available for an additional charge. (Applies only for eligible city bikes)

Driving License - Driving license in Thailand are required by law, though rarely checked and generally any ID or passport will suffice.  However the actual law is a bit of a confused issue with even Thai police officers rarely knowing the correct law.  Most countries license which includes an English translation on it, or an International Drivers Permit are approved by Thailand for use while on a Tourist visa. If staying for over 6 months or on a non-tourist visa a Thai license is required.  As always, having an appropriate license is always recommended especially in regards to the unfortunate event of an accident requiring insurance.

 

Touring Bike Conditions

250cc - 999cc

Requirements - Must have a valid passport and riding experience for all touring bike rentals.

Insurance - Standard medical coverage insurance is included with all bikes to help with medical expense for all those involved in the event of an accident. Damage and theft is not common, however we do offer additional coverage to protect the bike if you'd like for piece of mind.  Damage/theft coverage does not cover 3rd party vehicles or property.  A deductible will apply in the unlikely event of an incident. (All insurance coverage applies to Thailand only)

Cash Deposit - Upon rental we will require a 5,000 baht cash deposit for rentals in Thailand or 30,000 baht if crossing international borders to neighboring countries.  The cash deposit can be left in Thai Baht or equal amount of another major currency.

Passport Deposit - We understand some people are not comfortable leaving a passport as a security deposit.  With purchase of Damage/Theft coverage we DO NOT require a passport or ID deposit.  Without Damage/theft coverage we do require a passport deposit.  The passport will be kept in a fireproof safe and we will provide you with copies of your passport and visa pages protected in a plastic slip for your convenience. 

Payments - Payments are to be paid in full on the first day of the rental.  Payments can be paid by cash, transfer, or credit card. There are ATM's available next to our store if required.

  • Cash in Thai baht or any major currency (Dollars, euros, etc)

  • Bank transfer: Siam Commercial Bank 204-208421-6,

Reservations - Reservations can be made in advance for rentals of 3 days or longer.  We just require a 5,000 booking deposit which can be paid via cash, transfer, or credit card. The deposit will be returned at the end of the rental. (Due to extremely high demand, Moto GP weekend is a five day minimum rental period for reservations.)

Cancellations - In the event your reservation is canceled more than 7 days prior to the rental start date the booking deposit is eligible for a 100% refund.   If the booking is canceled less than 7 days from the rental start date the deposit will be held for one year from the payment date to be used at a later date. However, if the rental is canceled within 24 hours or less of the rental start date, the deposit will be forfeit.

Bike Passports - Bike passports are available at a cost of 5,000 baht plus total deposit of 30,000 baht (5,000 for bike & 25,000 for passport) for entry into Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia. We currently have a success rate of 80% or higher, however we can NOT guarantee successful border crossings. Please read the full details regarding bike passports here.
