The process:
Our trained staff will review your documents, prepare the application and receive a queue.
On the day of processing our staff will guide you through the processes handling all the queues, paperwork and provide professional translation service. Customers are required for basic vision test and photo.
Cost: (including all service and government fees)
Car or motorbike license: 1,800 Baht (3-4 hours to process)
Car and motorbike license: 2,400 Baht (If currently have motorcycle license or endorsement) (3-4 hours to process)
Car and motorbike license: 2,900 Baht (If currently do not have a motorcycle license or endorsement) (1 day to process and 1/2 day for driving tests)
Optional: (including all service and government fees)
Medical Certificate: 300 Baht (Our agent will guide you to a nearby clinic on the day of processing)
Express queue: 1,000 Baht
Certificate of residency (long term visa): 2,500 Baht (See full details on our Certificate of Residency page)
Certificate of residency (tourist visa): 6,400 Baht (See full details on our Certificate of Residency page)
What is required
Passport with visa
Any Visa type with a minimum of 30 days validity from the date of license processing.
A valid drivers license or international license (1949 or 1968).
Note: If your drivers license is not in 100% English, it must be officially translated and stamped by your home country Embassy or an authorized translation service.
Certificate of residency or Non-digital Work Permit: (Please read details for eligibility)
Certificate of residency issued from either your home country Embassy or Thai immigration. Please note, TM47/90 day report, TM30, rental contracts, title ownership books, etc are not accepted. A work permit which is a physical blue book with your address listed between pages 24-26 can be accepted. Note, digital work permits and blue books without page 24 - 26 are not accepted. In either case, a Certificate of residency would be required instead.
Medical certificate, not over 30 days old (We can help you get one on the registration day at a nearby clinic within a few minutes, otherwise any hospital or clinic will be familiar with this if you prefer to get before. You can see a few examples of local providers here)
